Chawanmushi is my favorite Japanese dish. As simple as it might seems to look.. it’s not..! i tried to cook it at home.. but it didn’t turned out the way i want. A japanese restaurant that doesn’t serve chawanmushi is not a japanese restaurant. It can be a canadian - japanese restaurant.. but not a true japanese restaurant.. if you know what i mean. Chawamushi is steamed egg custard in a cup or a tea bowl. I has gingko nuts in it.. egg mixture, soya sauce, dashi and mirin and shiitake mushrooms boiled shrimp and is eaten as an appetizer. I only eat them hot.

Yes.. i do loved Japanese food as well. The raw fishes .. sashimi.. and the sushi - rice with raw fishes.. they are also my favourite. But of course i have a few other things .. that I must have .. when I am eating Japanese cuisine. Chawanmushi is my absolute favourite .. i must have this everything i eat in a japanese restaurant. It is made with steam eggs with seafood it it. The Chawanmushi is so smooth.. it just slides into your throat.. it’s awesome..!! What’s more..??!!?? Japanese food are usually sweet.. not overly like a western cake.. but sweet.. a nice kinda sweet. i hear that Japanese food are the healthiest way to go. You see a fat japanese woman before..?? nope.. i haven’t. Plus they eat so much fish.. they have the best complexion ever.
