You can find just about any gaming stuff, manga or even animation culture there. Wanna buy laptop ? no problem..! find the newest and swankiest at Akibara as well.
Hundreds of electronics shops of various sizes can be found around Akihabara Station and along Chuo Dori (Chuo Avenue). They offer everything from the newest computers, cameras, televisions, mobile phones and home appliances to second-hand goods and electronic junk.
Medical Care In Japan
I say medical care in Canada ain’t the best.. but Medical care in Japan is just as bad. I heard recently that a man at 69 yrs of age was turned away by more than 10 hospitals .. because of the lack of emergency staff.. and he died. Last year an elderly woman, was also turned away by 14 hospitals.. and she too died.. because of non treatment. Thus prompting outrage by the citizens of Japan and i donch blame them at all. Can you imagine a cerebral palsy patient been turned away..?? or a sick child..?? So what is up with Japan.. for turning away patients.
In Times Of Recession In Japan

We all know how inventive the japanese can be .. and in times of recession everywhere in the world, can you blame the ladies in Japan.. to resort to no surgery feature enhancement..?? Nope. Look at this mouth rollers that you can find on the shelves in any Japanese departmental stores. Cost less.. and definitely another way to look into beautifying oneself .. without costing an arm or a leg but when it comes to weight loss supplements one of course needs to find one that is the most affordable and effective too eh.
Get Your Geeky Teen To Eat Vegies

Yes.. ! you can entice your geeky teen to eat vegies.. by doing what the japanese does best.. at times of dire need. Food like these are not uncommon in Japan.. and they are placed in Bento sets just to entice kids.. and even adults to eat proper home cooked food. I’ve known many of my friends doing such .. to help their kids eat better.

How about some bee story for the younger kids..?
Candy Gals In Japan

No.. the japanese are not the only ones interested in candie dolls.. there are people from the States who orders them.. and have them shipped out to them. I`ve seen some soldier doing stuff with the dolls. But for $8.5K .. well.. it better look real. If you`ve been to Orient Industries Candy Girl showroom, in Akihabara, you will find loads of these dolls waiting to get inspected.
Kitty Land In Osaka

The Japanese cannot get enough of the cat - Hello Kitty and i’m sure a lot of you out there are like them. I am a fan of Hello Kitty.. and some of the stuff are ridiculously priced.. but who can resist a hello kitty eh. I will give up my weight loss diet pill if i had to .. said one of my girlfriend who insisted that I get her some hello kitty when i said i was going to Osaka for business.

So yes.. like any good girlfriend.. i went to this shop .. in Osaka.. and got her a bunch of stuff. I bought some for myself and had i already had a kid.. you can be sure i would have gone crazy as well.
New Procedures At Japan Immigration
Anti-terrorism effort is what Japan is saying about its new procedure each time you step into Japan. Whether you are a tourist or coming in on business, as long as you are a foreigner going into Japan you get fingerprinted and photographed.
Looks like Japan is even a lot more strict than United States because even if you are a foreigner already living in Japan, you get check too - each time. Some may think it is pretty ridiculous .. but they are Japanese you know. Looks like the Japanese has lots of beef about terror target.
“Japan says the new move is an anti-terrorist measure that will also cut crime. Human rights organisations say it violates foreigners’ rights to privacy and could encourage xenophobia. They complain it implies that foreigners are most likely to commit acts of terrorism or commit crimes on Japanese soil. So far there has been no terrorism in Japan committed by foreigners. Incidents like the sarin gas attacks on commuters on the Tokyo subway were carried out by other Japanese. There are also concerns that the information gathered will be shared with immigration authorities in other countries. Foreigners who have visas which allow them to live in Japan, meanwhile, are angry that they will now be treated the same as visitors and subjected to longer waits when they re-enter the country.
Japan insists, though, that the measures are needed to help keep terrorists out. Tokyo’s staunch support of the US-led invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq have raised concerns that Japan could be a terror target.”
Wine

The wine of the month for me when i was living in Japan had to be plum wine. Why you asked..? A plum wine is a dessert wine or can be drank as an aperitif. It goes with just about any Japanese meal if you ask me. Japanese plum wine is made with white plums while they are still green and hard. Enjoy the fresh flavour of young plums! It is very refreshing. You can drink it straight like white wine, on the rocks, with soda or water, or even with warm water on a cold night! My favourite is drinking it straight with a small cube of ice before my meal. It enhances my apetite
Tuna Made Of Gold

Love sushi .. love Japan.. and anyone who loves Japan.. would definitely love the finest sushi .. but to pay $100K for sushi .. tuna to be exact.. i doubt i can afford it. Can you .. ?? or would you ..?? I am sure a lot of ppl would beg to differ.. especially those die hard fans of blue fin tuna.
The 282-pound (128-kilogram) premium tuna caught off the northern coast of Oma fetched 9.63 million yen ($104,700), the highest since 2001, when another Japanese bluefin tuna brought an all-time record of 20 million yen, market official Takashi Yoshida said.
Yoshida said the extravagant purchase — about $370 per pound ($817 per kilogram) — went to a Hong Kong sushi bar owner and his Japanese competitor who reached a peaceful settlement to share the big fish. The Hong Kong buyer also paid the highest price at last year’s new year event at Tokyo’s Tsukiji market, the world’s largest fish seller, which holds near-daily auctions.
Valentine’s Day In Japan
Celebrating Valentine’s Day in Japan is a totally different culture.. if you had ever lived in Japan.. you would find it very fascinating. Now in Japan .. on V-Day.. only the woman gives presents to the men - mostly only chocolate. Yup..!! ain’t those Japanese men special.. and darn lucky now..!!!
They say that the Japanese women are usually shy to express their love.. hahahha!! donch be fooled now.. because yours truly - ME had seen some wild side of the Japanese girls.. so i’m inclined to believe that they are only shy when their culture required them to be. Anyhow, this V-day is a opportunity for them to express themselves free .. so they said. And the men they give out their chocolate a month later .. and they call it a White Day - and if you must know, only the Japs do V-day this way.
