Japanese Can Be Gay Now

But hang on a minute .. only when you marry someone from overseas.  So it’s not all open mindedness .. there is still a partial restriction. So custom rubber stamps we may not need in Japan for the purpose of having the ceremony for gay marriages. Well, unless the Japanese men goes overseas to look for their gay partner.

The Justice Ministry plans to enable Japanese nationals to marry same-sex partners who have citizenship in countries where gay marriage is legally approved, ministry sources said Thursday.

The ministry will issue certificates necessary for such marriage of Japanese citizens and foreigners, the sources said, adding the ministry will soon convey the decision to its legal affairs bureaus across the nation, the sources said.

The ministry has so far rejected the issuance of such certificates to Japanese citizens seeking to marry same-sex partners of foreign nationality as such marriages are not approved under domestic law.

Trust the Japanese to come up with something like that.. muahahah!!!  I also believe that they were the firs to invent things like MP3 players and console systems and games.  If you have been to Japan.. i’m sure you would be as fascinated and in awe as i was everytime I am there.  It’s an amazing place to spend your vacation in.  Not only Disney Land is awesome.. you’ve gotta see their electronic stores.. and the Hello Kitty Land as well.  Of course, the food are awesome..!!  so pretty .. you donch even wanna eat them.. but just look at them.

Branded Tea In Japan

So even fashion shop has branded tea now.  One can find this chill cup of tea called Collaboration Blend - Royal Milk Tea at Lawson the convenience store and looks like you can only find it at Lawson as they are the exclusive store selling it.  So how does the tea taste like..??  let me know.. but i do like their pink cups.

Japanese Don’t Like iPhones

Looks like the iPhone is not selling well in Japan at all.  The iPhone has not appealed to the Japanese people in general because it is not quite the technologically advanced phone that we think it is. It is true, the iPhone is cool. There is no arguing with that. But in Japan, where people change their mobile phones twice a year (this might be an exaggeration but you get the point), something like the iPhone is not that great.

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is lit up in the colors of Japan’s flag to celebrate Japan’s victory in the World Baseball Classic on Monday. It will remain lit up in those colors until late Sunday night. For those in Japan for vacation, make sure you head over to take a picture of the lovely color of Tokyo Tower.

Single Mothers In Japan

One wouldn’t think that there are divorces in Japan.. since asians are known to be pretty conservative .. but don’t be surprise to learn that the number of low income single mother families are closed to 1 million in Japan. .. due to divorce.  It is said that the state and government give up to 42,000 yen in monthly allowances for these single moms for just 1 child per mom.  You may think it is a lot but the standard of living in Japan can be quite hard.  Luckily these ladies don’t need weight loss pills since they are already genetically skinny - well most of them.  So yes.. there are divorces in Japan.. they are no different from the Western countries.
