Strawberry Dessert

What better way to quench your thirst during a hot summer day .. after doing your shopping.  Desserts like these are found in Japan.. and they are pretty good too.  Frozen strawberries in shaved ice .. and you can eat them with or with some condense milk.

Did i tell you that the shaved ice are strawberry flavored too..?

Art & Cafe Hai

To be honest.. i donch even know if we went to the Museum of Contemporary Art because of the cafe or the other way round.  A 15 minute-walk  or one can  take the bus for Shimbashi from Kikukawa sta.subway Shinjuku Line, it’s quite a breath-taking experience.

We had some pancake with ice cream.. and i had forgotten to take pictures because I was so hungry.. hahah!! but my co-worker had some pho .. and i heard it was pretty good.

Japanese Pancakes

Well.. it really isn’t pancakes.. but sorta.  It’s actually called Imagawa Yak.  Definitely missing it right now.. and wished i could sink my teeth onto one of this sweet and sugary thing.  Made of eggs, flour and sugar.. it’s pretty popular as a afternoon snack in our office.  Plenty of them sold in the shop houses in Japan - Tokyo .. where office furniture are sold and around Asia.   I love the one in Azabu Jyuban because it was near our office..  at $1 a piece .. you can’t really go wrong with it.   Comes with fillings of red beans.. cheese and peanut or custard, i always get the red bean ones.

Food In Japan

One of the things I cannot get over in Japan is how expensive the fruits are there.  Oh .. donch get me wrong..  they have the inexpensive ones.. but if you want good fruits.. i mean .. the real juicy and sweet ones.. well .. they are ex..!! But having said all that.. i love their coffee so much.. they are so dainty .. and served up all pretty. I don’t know what kind of  coffee makers they used.. but they sure produced good coffee.
