Kawaii Girls In Japan

My Canadian friend who is going to Japan to teach – asked me how he can get a Japanese girlfriend and asked me if all Japanese girls looked as kawaii and slim like her – or was it just an illusion that the press wants foreigner to think?   I told him that most Japanese girls that I know are pretty health conscious and more looks conscious – so I wouldn’t be surprised if they are onto fat burner reviews constantly to see which fat burners are the best.  Japanese girls are really, really concern about their skin – their body and their fashion sense is pretty impeccable.

Hot Spring In Hokkaido

To get to the hot spring in  Hokkaido, you just have to take an hour and  35 mins train from 1h 35 min from Haneda to Asahikawa Airport.  And since we are already in Hokkaido – we might as well check out the hot spring at Sounkyo. We took the ropeway – just like everyone else – a kinda ski cable – but please don’t jump out before you reach mountain eh. The Sounkyo hot spring is just after the first mountain – you can’t missed it.

Christmas Gifts For Friends In Japan

While my girlfriend in Japan sent me these fried green buns for Christmas present – they are so yummy – air flown over and handed personally who was in Canada for business trip – I am getting some engraved gifts for her.  You see – this girlfriend of mine has just about everything and anything – and of course being in Japan what can you not get right?  so after thinking long and hard I decided to get her some personalized gifts – to show her how much I appreciate her friendship throughout the years.  I got her a silver plated mirror and a murano bracelet.  The reason why I thought about these gift was because the spouse had gotten me some “reasons I love you stones” last year – they were very special and spontaneous – and if ever I am mad with him – I look at these stones and everything don’t seems so important anymore.

Japan Red Light District

Although I love Japan very much – I cannot say that much about the seedier part of Japan – the red light district.  Kabukicho is known as Tokyo’s red light district and here – it comes alive mostly during the Friday and Saturday nights. Kabukicho is said to house more than 300 sex shops, about 200 clubs and 80 hotels or more and 100s of bars and eatery.  From sex toys or blown up dollies  to  male enhancement reviews can be found there.  If you choose to bring your English businessman in suite to see some naked girls swimming in a huge tub – you can do that too.  I’ve only been there once – when I first arrived out of curiosity – but Japan never fail to amaze me – as conservative as they are – they have the wild and immoral side too.

If there is anyone who loves to wear bow ties it has to be the Japanese.  The Japanese are very fashionable people – if they attend a black tie function – you can expect them to be in bow ties.  If they are attending a wedding – you can also expect them to be in bow ties.  Unlike the western counterparts – they are not too, too keen in wearing bow ties except for the groom.  But yes!  the Japanese are definitely one of the better dressed people I’ve seen and they do look pretty good in them too.

The Good Complexion Middle Age Japanese Woman

I lived in Japan for 6 months and noticed that while the younger Japanese girls loves to dress up cute – or some anime clothing style – the middle age japanese woman have the best complexion – and I was told that they used the best anti wrinkle eye cream therefore, you never see one that has lots of wrinkles around the eyes or anywhere else in the face.   Most Japanese woman are very modest and when you ask them about the products they used – they would be very shy to tell you – or they tell you it is a home remedy.   I asked one of my co-workers who was in her 40s – but she has got such good complexion – I thought she might have gone for plastic surgery – only to be told that she used a special cream from United States.  Asoka!

Cosmetic Shopping In Japan

Many of us who are on vacation or visiting Japan would do what we ladies love to do most – shopping – but not just ordinary shopping but cosmetic shopping.  We also look out for things we cannot get from the same brand at home – like a neck acne cream exclusive only in Japan.  So yes!  we kinda go crazy – because we strongly believed that cosmetic and skin care products made in Japan are the original products – and they ware a wee bit cheaper too in Japan.  Love my neck acne cream bought exclusively at Takashimaya – and I always get the same stuff when I am in Japan.

An Aging Japan

We’ve all heard about the aging society in Japan and how the japan government and the doctors in every clinic recommends calcium supplement for those not only aging but those who are in their late 30s.  I wished they recommend supplements like this in West too because calcium is very important for the bones.  And as you grow older – your bones become more fragile and brittle – easily  broken or crack when you take a fall.  I know so – because each time – my grandparents take a fall – they end up in the hospital for some broken bones.   So it’s not only for the Japanese people folks – take your calcium supplement daily now – I am!

Body Shop Japan

For those who are wondering if there is a body shop in Japan – there is! in fact – the body shop was in Japan many, many years ago – you can even find it online in Japan – and even though the carry similar products are all body shops in the entire world – the prices are a little bit higher than in  your local drugstore in Japan.  But I hear that the Japanese girls usually go for the more upmarket stuff – because they have so many choices in Japan.  Plus the Japanese are big on the whitening lotion to make them look fair and pretty – so unless the Body Shop Japan carries something like that – they rather buy from Shisedo or Kose – the so called “house brand”.

Western Style Wedding Ceremonies

The Japanese loves a lot of things western – from a western style wedding ceremony to anything anti-aging from the West – like hgh.  Not only the young follows the Western counterparts – you can see older couple doing the same thing.   Japanese I find are highly impressionable people – but they know a good stuff when they see it.  Quality is always the thing for the Japanese and not quantity.  If they are not a good quality product – they rather not buy or wear it.

Having say all the above – a friend of mine is who works in Japan – does Western wedding for these Japanese couples and get pay very well – for being a stand in best man and handling the entire ceremony.  One can earn as much as 10,000 Yen for an hours work.  Looking at this Japanese couple – you wouldn’t know that they are older than most – but yes – like I said – the Japanese are big on dressing and skin care and healthy living.  So if you ever see a couple getting married – make sure you tell her how young they look – not only the wife but the husband as well – I know they will appreciate it.
