Japanese Cabinet

This is a very beautiful Japanese cabinet. Love the red lacquer design.. and it’s inspired by chinese craftmanship from the 18th century. Some of the cabinets and their door hardware are really unique .. and one can find this kinda of furniture very popular in japense homes. I would love the mixig and matching but shipping is so expensive .. it’s just not feasible to buy them online.
Baby Coke
Trust the Japanese to come up with something like that.. muahahah!!! I also believe that they were the firs to invent things like MP3 players and console systems and games. If you have been to Japan.. i’m sure you would be as fascinated and in awe as i was everytime I am there. It’s an amazing place to spend your vacation in. Not only Disney Land is awesome.. you’ve gotta see their electronic stores.. and the Hello Kitty Land as well. Of course, the food are awesome..!! so pretty .. you donch even wanna eat them.. but just look at them.
Japanese Don’t Like iPhones

Looks like the iPhone is not selling well in Japan at all. The iPhone has not appealed to the Japanese people in general because it is not quite the technologically advanced phone that we think it is. It is true, the iPhone is cool. There is no arguing with that. But in Japan, where people change their mobile phones twice a year (this might be an exaggeration but you get the point), something like the iPhone is not that great.

Akibara

When one is in Japan, you must not miss going to Akibara. Akibara is in Central Tokyo .. and is famous for the many electronic shops there is. You can find just about any gaming stuff, manga or even animation culture there. Wanna buy laptop ? no problem..! find the newest and swankiest at Akibara as well.
Hundreds of electronics shops of various sizes can be found around Akihabara Station and along Chuo Dori (Chuo Avenue). They offer everything from the newest computers, cameras, televisions, mobile phones and home appliances to second-hand goods and electronic junk.
Sony Vaio

I bought my very first notebook in Japan . .and at that time the Sony Vaio was the most popular. Of course, it didn’t have so many colors that they have now. But nevertheless, i really liked it.. because it allowed me to talk to my home and office via the in built webcam. Some 15 yrs ago, that kinda technology was really awesome.. and everyone was in awe of me.. when i travelled with it. Even thought i bought it cheap in Japan.. the only problem i had was . .i had to reinstall the OS .. but first i had to wipe out the Japanese one .. that was already in it. .hahah!!
Red Candle Table Lamp

I have been asked many a times.. if in Japan.. do the folks there use lamps like these.. that you can find in the West.. in speciality shops. I have to let you know. .that yes.. some do use these lamps.. and please be made aware that those manufactured in Japan are definitely different . .than those you find manufactured in China. In Japan.. the japanese believed that quality is above everything. Everything you see here .. to make this table lamp successful is all hand made.. and inspected personally. So yes.. as long as I see that sign “Made in Japan” .. well you know .. you can trust that they are quality product.
The Kawaii Museum, Ghibli

Sorry .. !! i couldn’t post up any more pictures about this Manga Museum.. Ghilbi because they don’t allow any pictures to be taken. Bummer eh! but the Museum was awesome .. and they did have some cool exhibits. It was kinda magical for my kid.. and she really like the Totor Zoetrope with its 3D effect and the lights and all.

What a cute looking bus for the Ghibli Museum right..?
A museum that is interesting and which relaxes the soul
A museum where much can be discovered
A museum based on a clear and consistent philosophy
A museum where those seeking enjoyment can enjoy, those seeking to ponder can ponder, and those seeking to feel can feel
A museum that makes you feel more enriched when you leave than when you entered!
