All About Bacon
Posted on November 15th, 2008 @ 4:19 pm

If you think that the Japanese only eat raw fishes.. then you are wrong.  They eat a lot of pork as well.  The bacon of the month club is my japanese buddy’s favorite bacon place to be in. After relocating the whole family to United States, they can’t find any bacon that they liked till they read about this  club.  So if you are a bacon lover, check out the site.

Microwaveable Hello Kitty Bento Box
Posted on September 18th, 2008 @ 9:48 pm

I haven’t seen very many microwaveable bento boxes at all.. so when i saw that this Glitter Hello Kitty Bento is microwaveable .. i quickly jumped an wanted to buy it.  Alas, they only sell it in Japan.. even though this is an online store. What a bummer..!!!  At $16 .. not cheap at all.. but i would still buy it .. since it is microwaveable.. and it’s a Hello kitty brand.

I love the big ribbons locking clips .. they are cute and easy to use and keeps the food inside air tight.  I would have loved to have a double tier bento but they do have removable dividers to keep different food separated and it’s very useful. I am worried about the glitter.. because usually things with glitter loses it shiny self.. after a while.. thus making the bento .. look really old.  Great for a lunch box for small eaters like my kid.

I NEEED .. A Takoyaki Maker
Posted on September 8th, 2008 @ 12:37 pm

I need one so badly..!! if you ever tried a takoyaki before (octopus balls).. you would know you have to  eat it again.  And like right now..! i would kill to eat one . .hahah!! ok ok.. i was exaggerating.  Octopus Balls or Takoyaki are very popular not only in Japan.. but most parts of Asia.  You can find it at food bazaars or any food fest. It’s also cheap .. to buy them.. so you can imagine.. making them on your own.. can be really affordable.. once you know how.  Kids will love it… a great snack for after school..and they can even help out.. with cooking it.  Easy peasy .. at $159 .. i think it is a good investment.

Soy Sauce Bottle
Posted on September 5th, 2008 @ 6:01 pm

Trust the Japanese to come up with such a cute and sensible way where you can keep your soya sauce to go with your sushi.. or congee. It is air tight, so no worries about leaking .. and easy to carry about. Good for vinegar and any thin sauce. Not microwavable safe.

Fresh Breath For Men
Posted on September 4th, 2008 @ 12:58 pm

Trust the Japanese to come up with something like this.  This drink is said to keep away bad breath - so said the tobacco manufacturer.  This is just like your soft drinks .. that you buy from any stores.. and vending machines. The ingredients used is rosemary extract and because of it.. they believed it can help to keep away bad breath.

Japanese Mayo
Posted on September 2nd, 2008 @ 3:23 am

This is Japanese Mayo.. and some may say.. mayo is mayo.. but you are darn wrong.. because nothing beats the Japanese mayo. Kewpie Mayo is what it is called in Japan and the this mayo is alot more expensive than those you find here in the West. And nope.. can’t get it here in the West either.

Ramen In Shinjuku
Posted on July 27th, 2008 @ 12:19 pm

You see lots of cuties like these in front of restaurants.. and snack places.  They are so cute… and definitely a welcoming sight for both tourists.. and locals.  The japanese doesn’t spare their money .. when it comes to enticing their customers.. now that’s for sure.  The presentation of any japanese food is so artistic.. i sometimes.. feel bad to eat it.

Cheap Bento Boxes
Posted on July 23rd, 2008 @ 4:29 pm

By far the cheapest bento that i’ve found so far. Only at $4.50 USD .. this one is pretty plain.. but as usual.. not microwaveable..! now that is a real bummer. This double decker bento box with pink polka dots on the clear acrylic top. You can even put your mini chopstick on the top. Does not come with an elastic band.. so don’t forget to get one at $3.50 .. so afterall, it isn’t that cheap eh.

Japanese Makes Cute Food
Posted on July 9th, 2008 @ 5:08 pm

Tell me this is not the cutest food you’ve ever seen.  It is even too cute to eat.. like most japanese food stuff you buy from Japan.. they are all so nicely packed and wrapped individually.. you don’t even want to give them out.. when you bring them back.  It seems like alot of time is needed but if you planned it properly .. it isn’t that tough.. try it.  From Cooking Cute.
