R Burger Roppongi

For the health conscious Japanese and tourist - check out the R Burger in Roppongi - of course - this is a chain burger store and you don’t have to find it in Japan alone - in fact I think they have this in Bangkok and even in Singapore. Opens daily - from 11am - 11pm - and if you fancy a chinese bun with an R printed on it - with either tofu, chicken or pork patties in them - go for it. I liked it - it was pretty good - reminds me of MOS burger.
Used PC In Japan

A very, very small used computer store right in the middle of the busiest part in Japan - so if you are looking for used computers/PC - head over to shibuya.
Drinks @ Izakaya Tokyo

There are not many drug rehabilitation centers in Japan but Izakaya - there are plenty, and it’s a wonder that there isn’t more rehabs because the amount of alcohol consumed by the Japanese is horrid. Did you know that all Japanese men visits the Izakaya on a daily basis? not for the food alone of course but more so for the drinks. And seriously, how they show up for work sober the next day - is truly amazing to me - I know so because I’ve worked with some before.
The japanese work hard but drink just as hard - and how they don’t end up being alcoholic - I cannot understand but I bet they cannot do without a drink - and some I have to say - may just need more help than others. And whether or not they have a rehab center in Japan or around Japan - I say - that if I had the money - I would definitely have a alcohol rehab center in Japan.
Ramen In Japan

The Ramen in Ikebukuro is the best I’ve tried thus far in Tokyo - I love the miso Ramen very much - and according to my friend - she said that this is not a chain restaurant. It’s small inside and seats like 10 - 15 - the Ramen here cost between 750 - 1000 yen - approximately $7.50 USD.

Yums!
Pull Cart Ramen In Tokyo

Pull cart ramen stores are not uncommon in Japan - in fact I loved finding them because they are a hidden gem. Normally, they are rather cheap and they produces good food and they are mostly run by quite elderly people who have been cooking ramen for the longest time ever. So if you happen to walk pass one - take a minute to stop in and have a bowl of noodles.
Sensoji Temple

I seriously think that the Sensoji Temple is the most visited by tourist from all over the world and even those who are around Japan. Whether you are in Japan in May or February - it’s one of the busiest place ever ! I figured it is probably because of all the shops and souvenir stores one can find in Sensoji Temple.

I like to visit the temple in the evenings because of all the lighted lamps - but you miss out on all the shops and food stores that are just as interesting. Don’t forget to get your fortune told too while you are there for just 100 Yen. But there are so much you can eat, buy and see at the temple and along the way.

Yummy chocolate biscuit.
A Train Ride Away

I loved taking train rides when I lived in Japan for 6 months - most trains on the weekdays are pretty empty and so we headed out to one of the small town around Kyoto to the fish market there. The main reason why I agreed to live in Japan for 6 months - for a hotel that was being build was because of the food in Japan. I love food so much - I wanted to try just about anything and everything while I was in Japan.

The fish market had an amazing range of seafood - from oysters to crabs and prawns.

We ended up eating some set lunch - which wasn’t too bad - but had sushi with it too. The magaro was so fresh - I can still remember it today.

Good Wishes For Japan

So I’ve asked my girlfriend in Japan - Tokyo - how are things there - and she had said that a lot of people are praying for the entire Japan and her family had gone to the temple and pray for the bad things to go away too. I don’t blame them - and if I were in Japan - I would be writing on those wooden blocks too - wishing for a safe year not only for Japan but for everyone around the world. For those thinking of traveling to Japan at this time - they should all hold their horses - according to my girlfriend - no point risking it at this moment.
Donut With Ice Cream

Yup! you heard me right - Krispy Kreme has this new donut with ice cream from the end of March till end of August - yums or ewwww? it’s depends - hahah!! i wouldn’t mind trying it - after all i loved mango and caramel - but some people are already commenting that it’s heart clogging and artery blocking - but who cares right now eh - when japan is suffering with natural disaster - some sweetness is good no?
