Le Chocolat De H @ Roppongi Hills

Who said you can’t find good chocolate places in Japan is definitely wrong.  While everyone are having their Christmas lunch and dinner at a Japanese place - while they were in Tokyo - we went to Le Chocolat De H at Roppongi Hills.  The chocolate room was so yummy - it was like going to a spa - full of chocolate every where. The chocolate room was like a viewing room - in the small seating area - one has to wait - till you ae allowed to go into the room - because it can never be too crowded in there.  Everything was just so yummy!!  I drank hot chocolate - had a few sinful pieces of chocolate and pink chocolate macaroons.  If you are ever in Tokyo - please don’t forget to visit this place.

Temples In Japan

There are as much temples as there are high rises in Japan - from tokyo to Osaka and Hokkaido - there is some that everyone wants to go to.  Even when i went hiking - there is a temple along the hiking route in Japan. Most of the temples has historical value and been around since 1633.

Gotoku temple is in Shinjuku

Tokyo At Nite

Missed the vibrant evenings in Tokyo and 9 yrs in Canada is definitely getting to me.  Here there is nothing  much to do or see, wherelse in Tokyo, plenty to do -eat, drink and be merry.

If the standard of living wasn’t so high in Japan, I may consider moving there and opening an electronic store but the rent can kill in tokyo, japan.

This picture was taken like at 10.30pm.. over here .. at 9pm.. the streets are dead.  I definitely see and feel the difference.   Next up .. theme restaurants.

Sushi Clock

A familiar sight in many Japanese restaurants throughout Japan, these clocks display much more than just the time. They also represent the scrumptious and delectable fare diners will find on the menu inside the restaurant. This sushi clock is the actual size of a lacquer sushi tray, with a flowering plum and gold fan decoration on the side. Each hour is denoted by a different sushi item: 1 - fresh water eel (Unagi), 2 - abalone (Awabi), 3 - shrimp (Ebi), 4 - octopus (Tako), 5 - mackerel (Saba), 6 - salmon roe (Ikura), 7 - conger eel (Anago), 8 - egg (Tamago), 9 - ark shell (Akagai), 10 - squid (Ika), 11 - tuna (Maguro), 12 - cucumber and tuna roll (Kappa Maki and Tekka Maki). So cleverly and realistically crafted, you’ll have visitors first wondering if they’re real, and secondly, asking if there’s a Japanese restaurant nearby! Made in Japan.
